he Kuranda Trading Post is a modern tourist complex comprising a licensed 300 seat Restaurant,
a 150 seat Side-Walk Cafe, Souvenir Shop, Foreign Currency Exchange and historical photographic
museum covering the construction of the Famous Kuranda rail and local area.
The building has been designed in true Australian tradition so as to fit in with the atmosphere of Kuranda.
The complex is in the centre of town, within walking distance of all attractions, including the Railway Station
(250-300 metres), the Skyway Terminal (250 metres) and the Kuranda Markets (300 metres).
Our licensed Restaurant has a seating capacity of 300. There are 230 seats on the general floor and 70
seats upstairs in the "Old Queenslander". Upstairs is ideal as a private function area for groups of
smaller numbers inside the museum.
The licensed Side-Walk Cafe seats around 150 and is ideal to sit and soak up the street atmosphere after lunch.
Our Restaurant is fully licensed, stocking most popular Beers and Spirits. Our Restaurant is a garden restaurant,
fully enclosed incorporating a central pond and water feature, making a truly attractive environment for your customers.
